Stafford & Stone Green Party members are hard at work all year round - delivering leaflets, sweating over press releases and navigating crumbling basement staircases as they canvass for support in the forthcoming elections. And this is work that should produce results, but hard labour, great representatives, and policies to tackle climate change, social injustice and the drive to war are not enough - the Green Party campaign also needs cash to deliver its message effectively.

It costs:

£20 to print 100 glowing green window posters

£200 to print a ward newsletter

£1,000 to rent a shop for the election period

We in the Green Party don't have dodgy billionaire donors, we don't take dirty money from grubby big businesses, we're not in the pockets of media barons, but that means that we do have to ask our supporters and party members to dig deep, to contribute as much as you can.

YOUR CASH could be the contribution that takes us over the line. You can do that easily and simply by sending a cheque to the address or transfering funds to the account above. In order to comply with election law, you need to be on the electoral register and to give us your name and address.

THANK YOU!

We also need more volunteers out speaking to residents and delivering our newsletters, to make sure we get the Green Party's message across to every voter in Stafford & Stone. For more information of ways you can help, please see our Get Involved page.

We are also thrilled to announce that we’re fundraising in partnership with Cycle of Good!

Every time you buy recycled and ethical bags, wallets and face-coverings using this link Cycle of Good you benefit us and them!

Cycle of Good is helping to end poverty in one of the poorest communities in the world. Currently employing 20 Malawian tailors full time, but with ambitions to grow this to a team of 100, they earn a good wage and can support their families, without any charity donations or handouts.

Cycle of Good Ethos:

  • Value people; our team and our customers, and treat them fairly.

  • Value resources; we reduce waste, recycle wherever possible and care for our environment by being frugal in the way we work.

  • Be creative yet practical in our innovations; so we craft lasting products that serve a purpose.
